My first ever Disney race! I'm so happy my cousin was able to run with me. We ran through California adventure and Disneyland. It wasn't a normal 5k, as we stopped every 5 minutes and stood in line for a picture, but it was still super fun and I still was able to run quite a bit.
This was a really fun race! Its a loop around a park but ends with going through a water park play ground pool thingy.
I fell within the first 5 minutes and hurt my ankle, but Blake stayed with me this time and I kind of just pushed through until it stopped hurting.
And Dad pushed the kids the whole time, so I was able to wade through the pool thingy (he didn't want to get wet). Peter and Paul were fastest (as always) and they both did an awesome job.
Another virtual 5k from Flex it Pink is in the books! I finished in under an hour, not my fastest, but not my worst.
Rachel and I traveled down to San Diego, and ran this awesome 5k, sponsored by Flex it Pink. This is the first race I've "traveled" for. Well, really I just went down to my Dad's beach house for the night, but it counts!
So I ran the Jedi challenge 5k! ( technically I ran 3.05 miles because that was the time when Kaleb started crying because he had to go potty. That's how runs go when you're pushing the stroller)
Also, star wars day is a high holiday in the Green home.

When we took off, I told Blake to just go b/c I wanted to concentrate and run and not really socialize. Plus I knew he would try to push me harder and I would just poop out sooner.
I didn't get any race picture because I don't know how to be that coordinated yet. It takes all my efforts just to tell myself to keep running. But they got a GREAT finishing picture of Blake and the Kids (that water bottle is about to hit Kaleb in the head)
I tried to share mine with Rachel, but she was alseep... oh well. :D
This was Rachel's face when she woke up and realised I had eaten all the FroYo.
But I shared kisses with her ...
So did Blake.
Honestly, I LOVED this run. It was awesome and well organized. It had all the perks of a fun run, but I was still able to run a good pace with no weird obstacles in my way.
It was awesome. Just can't wait for next year!
