Rachel's First Birthday (Take 2)

We were able to have Miss Rachel's big family pool party at Grandpa's house and it was so much fun! It was all Minnie Mouse and pink frosting. So cute and so much fun.

She touched the fire and was not happy about it at all!

Mommy had to show it was safe...

I am so grateful for the family who was able to celebrate with us, and for all the love my baby girl received for her birthday. 

Independence Day 5k with My Family

 So even though Peter and I had run together before, this was the first race I ran with both my Barrera brothers and my dad. The boys were way fast (Peter tried to stay with me at first, but then he took off and tried to place) and Dad pushed the stroller the entire time, Blake found two friends from Spain so I was running solo most of the time. I ran it in under an 50 minutes, which is pretty good for me.

It was mostly just fun being with my Dad and brothers with Blake and the kids.
